Integrated CBRN Detector

RRG Engineering is capable of providing an integrated CBRN detection solution. This solution consists of Biological, Chemical and a possible Radiation/Nuclear detector that can operate on a continuous basis enabling monitoring of the cabin for any release of CBRN agents and thereby enabling protection of crew.

The efficacy of a CBRN agent detection and identification solution is earmarked by the following characteristics,

  • The immediacy of detection to the occurrence of the event

  • The certainty in analysis of the thus generated sample to identify the nature of alarm

CBRN detection solutions can be configured to operate/trigger active NBC filtration, over pressurization and various sensors for detection and identification of threat agents.

The solution currently is designed to provide

  • An audio-visual alarm to the pilots and the crew on the platform
  • Collect the sample of the agents for further analysis

it can further be extrapolated to incorporate the following important features

  • High degree of automation to allow for faster response time under situations of stress like triggering the filtration system of managing cabin pressure.
  • Common operating picture of all sensors at the monitoring station with clear alarms and warnings
  • Minimal false alarm rate

The proposed solution is the best solution for protection of crews of aerial platforms from CBRN events. It greatly enhances the response capabilities with respect to CBRN events and consequently the management of the same.

The solution is designed to provide state-of-the-art threat response to any possible Chemical, Biological or Radiation/ Nuclear threats. It has provisions for best possible sensors to be integrated into the system available to the first responders for timely intervention in the scenarios of CBRN Exposure.
